Hello! I'm Jen, The owner of Adirondack Poodles, Goldendoodles, Bernedoodles & Schnoodles. As a young child I always helped my mother with our litters, she bred cocker spaniels. It was the best feeling ever as a child to be able to snuggle all of those little puppies! It helped me realize that making a difference in animals lives is what I wanted to do. Fast forwarding several years later. We purchased a poodle our son is severally, allergic to animal dander ( he turns blue and goes into respiratory distress when he is around animals with dander )  We figured we would try a breed of dog that has human like hair vs fur. He did fantastic with Ellie (our poodle) Then we decided to add another dog to our family Luna ( a cream colored multigen goldendoodle )  I spent a long time thinking about other families that have the same situation as our family does with allergies. I felt it was necessary to help other families be able to enjoy a dog  but be safe as well! We started out by doing genetic testing once those results came back we started OFA hips,elbows, eye and cardiac. Our dogs temperaments were phenomenal, we had everything we needed to start breeding doodles. We’ve learned a lot about the process since our first pets were born in 2018, We have become one of the top breeders in the Plattsburgh, NY area. There’s no better feeling than when we match one of our precious puppies with their loving new owner. It’s why we put so much time, love and effort into making sure these special dogs continue to be bred. We also do not believe in over breeding. Our females never have more than four-five litters. All of our puppies come with a strict spay or neuter contract.
